Allied Whale
 Allied Whale is the marine mammal research group of College of the Atlantic,
conducting research for the effective conservation of marine mammal populations and
their habitats. They respond to marine mammal strandings, curate the Humpback and Fin
Whale catalogues, and operate the most remote field research station on the eastern
seaboard of the United States: Mount Desert Rock.

Downeast Audubon
 Downeast Audubon is the chapter of Maine Audubon focused on Hancock County.
They offer monthly public programs and field trips. They also have a strong youth
education program. Each spring they field several birdathon teams to raise money to send
local youths to summer camp.

Robertson Sea Tours & Adventures
 Captain Jamie Robertson, fully licensed by the U.S. Coast Guard, leads puffin and
whale-watch tours, as well as conducting lighthouse tours and traditional lobster and clam
bakes. His boat, the Mairi Leigh, operates out of Millbridge.

Wendell Gilley Museum
 Founded to honor local bird carver Wendell Gilley, the museum was a wonderful
collection of his works. The museum also offers bird carving classes for all ages and has
a small gift store.
