We are a family-run retail store, nature-based guide service, and research
organization. Retail store hours vary with season and migration. Stop by to
shop for your favorite natural history items or to sign up for one of our daily
programs and tours (private tours are also available).
The Natural History Center carries a diverse array of items, including field
guides that primarily focus on the greater Acadia National Park and Gulf of
Maine region, binoculars, nature-based and educational games, bird feeders,
hand-crafted walking sticks, nature discovery kits suitable for all ages, and
bird-friendly coffee. Whenever possible, we try to offer locally made products.
